Steps to Root and Unroot Your Xiaomi Redmi Note 3G and 4G | Easiest Method

Xiaomi has recently launched his Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G in India recently and got full units sold out in just 6 seconds on Flipkart. Many Users brought it and may want to root their device or may want to unroot it so this post is dedicated to them as we are posting the easiest method to root and unroot your Xiaomi RedMi Note 3G / 4G.

Steps to Root Redmi Note :

1. Download RedMiNote_rootonly_rel.zip file and save it in your SD Card (Don't Extract it).
   You can rename it if you want to "root.zip" to make yourself easy to find it in SD.
2. Open the Updater app on your Note , In Menu select "select update package" option.
3. Then Select the .zip file "root.zip" , if you renamed it otherwise search it by its default name ,after selection click update option.
4. Now the phone will ask you to reboot , So select reboot option.
5. After reboot Goto Xiaomi Security app > Permissions > Root Permission > Turn it On.
6. Now you have gained the Root Permission Now .

These methods are tested by Techolics Team on Xiaomi Redmi Note 3G and may work On Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G."Try it On Your Own Risk".

Steps to Unroot Redmi Note :

1. Goto Xiaomi Security app > Permissions > Root Permission > Turn it Off.
2. Download the UNROOT_rel.zip file and save it in your SD Card (Don't Extract it).
   You can rename it if you want to "unroot.zip" to make yourself easy to find it in SD.
3. Open the Updater app on your Note , In Menu select "select update package" option.
4. Then Select the .zip file "unroot.zip" , if you renamed it otherwise search it by its default name ,after selection click update option.
5. Now the phone will ask you to reboot , So select reboot option.
6. Now you have Successfully Unrooted Your Redmi Note.
